We are seeking an Ecologist to join our clients Highways team and play a key role in shaping their ecological agenda.

This position is perfect for a proactive and strategic individual ready to champion environmental practices within their newly established ecology division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Survey, identify, record and monitor GCN’s and their habitats
  
  
• Design mitigation, management plans and habitat creation plans 
  
  
• Work with business stakeholders on ecological matters and environmental impact advice.
  
  

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

• Degree in Ecology or related/relevant discipline
  
  
• Level 1 Great Crested Newt Survey License
  
  
• Full UK driving license 
  
  

In return, the successful individual will receive:

• £400/per day (OUTSIDE IR35)
  
  
• 12 months guaranteed work
