We are delighted to represent our client, a leading environmental restoration and conservation company dedicated to preserving and enhancing natural habitats across the West Midlands.

Specialising in river embankment restoration projects, our client is committed to promoting biodiversity, preventing erosion, and creating sustainable ecosystems.

 

What we need:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee river embankment restoration works across the West Midlands region.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a passionate team and contribute to vital environmental conservation efforts.

 

What you will do:

● Supervising and coordinating river embankment restoration projects from inception to completion.

● Ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations on-site, including the implementation of risk assessments and safe working practices.

● Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively to achieve project objectives.

● Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.

● Conducting regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain exceptional standards of workmanship.

● Providing leadership and guidance to on-site staff, including training and development opportunities.

● Maintaining accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and relevant documentation.

 

What you will need:

● Essential: SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification.

● Previous experience working on green sites, particularly in environmental restoration or conservation projects, is highly advantageous.

● Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.

● Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges on-site.

● Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices related to river embankment restoration.

● Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites across the West Midlands region.

 

What you will get:

6 month freelance contract

Paid £350 per day outside IR35
