An opportunity has arisen for a Sustainability Engineer to join a forward thinking consultancy with a strong focus on energy and sustainability. Whether you’re an Sustainability Engineer or Senior Sustainability Engineer, this role offers flexibility in location and work arrangements, making it ideal for those seeking balance and professional growth. You’ll report into the Head of Sustainability, contributing to high impact projects from their Edinburgh office, with options for remote or hybrid work.

The successful Sustainability Engineer will:- Hold a degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, with priority given to relevant experience.
- Have 1-5 years of experience for intermediate roles or 5-8 years for senior roles.
- Be proficient in IES, with experience in residential compliance, Passivhaus (PHPP Calcs), and energy modeling tools like ApacheHVAC.
- Be comfortable with taking ownership of projects, including attending client meetings, conducting R&D, and contributing to business development.
- Be prepared to support junior members of the team and help train new hires as the team expands.
