About Naz

Naz leads our contract team, bringing over a decade of experience. 

Having progressed within his previous recruitment company to Managing Director, breaking several records on the way, Naz brings with him a huge amount of knowledge in contract and interim roles within the sustainability, ESG and HSE markets. 

Growing up Naz graduated from the University of Kingston, where he studied Business and Managerial Economics, and whilst growing up he wanted to be a pilot, he has since set his sights on flying high within the recruitment world instead!

Outside of work Naz immerses himself in all things football - specifically Arsenal! and further supporting charities which are close to him, specifically the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Senior Ecologist

  • Salary£300 per day
  • LocationEngland, West Midlands, Birmingham
What we need: Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Ecologist to join their dynamic team to assist with surveying work around the midlands UK area.   What you will do: In this role, you will work remotely from home while covering various work locations with the companies clients across the Midlands. You'll engage in diverse projects spanning highways, rail, local authorities, construction, and the private sector.   What you will do:Act as the technical lead on environmental projectsEnsure compliance with legislation and planning conditionsSupervise contractors and ensure adherence to protected species license requirementsMentor and train junior team membersConduct ecological surveys and produce technical reportsCollaborate with stakeholders and regulatory bodies  What you will need:A degree in a relevant scientific or environmental disciplineMinimum 4 years' experience in ecological or environmental fieldsProficiency in ecological survey techniques and legislationLevel 2 Bat licence holder or nearing achievementExperience with ecological survey software and GISFull clean UK driving licence  What we look for: We value proactive, ambitious individuals with strong organisational skills and a commitment to environmental conservation.
